AP English: Dr. Gingrich

This is a page which is to provide you information for whatever you need as far as assignments, readings, and the syllabus. Click on the links above to receive the information for which you are searching. This semester we will focus on four different objectives:

1. Writing college level compositions, particularly focusing on argumentation.

2. Reading an analyzing a wide range of texts, particularly works of non-fiction which may come from the media-newspapers and magazines, as well as professional journals. The main books that we will be reading focus on non-fiction narratives regarding current events of interest to many readers.

3. Developing research skills appropriate to college majors and individual choices of professions.

4. Preparing for the Advanced Placement English Examination in May.
