1.  Consider the  the characteristics of a metrical romance and the definitions of chivalry below
    2.  Follow the link below and read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
    3.  While reading make notes on the story based on the characteristics         below.  Specifically consider the heroic aspects of the main characters, the nature of the quest, the role of good and evil, and the supernatural elements that are apparent.
4.  How is chivalry portrayed in the story?  Who is the most chivalrous of the characters and why?
